Weeks 4 and 5
1 Read every day for a minimum of ten minutes.
2 If you do not confidently know all your x and ÷ tables as discussed in class, test yourself and make
a list of all the questions that are giving you difficulty.
Break up this list into groups of five questions and concentrate on practising one group each day.
4 If tables are a problem for you - log onto www.ideal-resources.com.au. The username and password
are both my favourite team. There are 4 tables games to help you.
3 Practise your spelling list each week. Write your list at least twice each week.
4 Log onto your DEC email account. There will be an email from me which contains a link to some maths
quizzes at "That Quiz". There are some easier level activities and some more challenging ones. Select
activities that feel right for you.
5 Log onto IXL. Select some activities from the Decimal Number section. Aim to do at least 15 minutes
each week. IXL will email me with your work.
6 Please bring an empty tissue box for a craft activity.
7 Please bring an old painting shirt if you have not already done so.
8 Check out the range of activities on Study Ladder. Give some a go. They will email me about any activities
that you do.
REMEMBER - You were given usernames/passwords for all online activities. Make sure that you have a copy of
these at home.
If you have no internet access at home, speak to me and you can try the online parts during quiet reading time.
