Homework Weeks 6 & 7
1 That Quiz Maths. open your DEC email to find the link to this work. Choose either the basic or challenge level.
2 Practise your spelling.
Write each of your words into sentences which show that you understand their meaning.
3 Read every day.
4 Use the list of unknown tables that you made last homework to practise your tables.
Write - cover - say - check.
5 Log onto Studyladder.
Choose Space 2D and 3D
Complete at least 30 minutes of activities.
Studyladder will send me your results.
6 Writing
Imagine you are writing an article about the Prime Minister's pretend suggestion that you should attend school on Saturdays.
Use the audience grabbers that we practised in class to write two different introductions to your article.
Each introduction need only be a few sentence in length.
Reminder: The audience grabbers we talked about were:
• Bold statement
• Quotation
• Rhetorical question
• Exaggeration (hyperbole)
